Telehealth is Virtual Care

Island Direct Primary Care is a patient-centered direct primary care practice that is focused on health promotion, wellness, prevention, acute and chronic disease management, simple procedures, and more.

Our approach to healthcare is SIMPLE: healthcare at the right time, at the right place, at the right price. No insurance. No co-pays. No hassle!

Why is Telehealth important?

Doctor John Rothwell, APRN

Telehealth is a virtual option to healthcare. Prior to the COVID-19 awareness and social distancing requirements, Dr. John APRN and his team understood the value of utilizing modern technologies in offering high quality healthcare. Whether you are using a mobile phone, tablet device, laptop or desktop, having a “virtual provider” provides patients increased access for acute illness and still receive sound advice regarding their wellness.

To help serve our community during the current COVID-19 crisis with the limited access to in-person primary and urgent care, Island Direct Primary Care is offering a limited number of Telehealth-Only Memberships. Your Telehealth-Only membership will provide you with unlimited virtual access to Dr. John APRN and his staff for urgent, primary and preventive care that can be managed on a remote basis. Unlike traditional telemedicine services, your Telehealth-Only membership allows you to have consistency and continuity of care that is integral to a provider and patient relationship.

Not looking for a membership opportunity but need access to a healthcare provider? Island Direct Primary Care is accepting single “virtual visits” for those in need of healthcare during the COVID-19 crisis.
